Tuesday Evening Series - Overall Results

With winds starting strong and the weather iffy, there was a light turnout for the 1st club race. The weather, however, turned out pretty nice. There were some good puffs to keep things exciting early on, then the sun came out and the winds settled down a bit. There was some extremely close racing on the course with less than a half a boatlength separating the top two finishers in the 2nd race. At most points during each race, it was anyone's to win as boats swapped positions.
Thanks Kurt and Melissa Sims for RC duty and for Jack and Cheryl Thielke for lending a battery for the committee boat after we found out that ours was dead. Jack and Cheryl also helped on the Committee boat, along with LaCinda Terry. Both Calen Terry and Jill Kapla helped on the committee boat while the other did crew duty for Rich Barker on the I-20.
